Google Page Rank: Difference Between Pr 0 And Pr Na
Do you have a website? If you are interested in blogging, you need to know something about Google Page Rank, also known as Google PR.
Google PR is a tool to assess website and each web page. One of the most important factors is the quality and quantity of incoming links.
When you publish an article or start a new blog, and you check the Google PR, you will see that the article or blog has a Google PR N/A.
What is the meaning of Google PR N/A?
Let us talk about the meaning of Google PR N/A for a blog.
There are four main reasons for Google Page Rank to display PR N/A:
1.The blog is new.
The blog is so new that Google search engine has not indexed it.
2.The blog is not ranked yet.
Sometimes the blog is new, but it is indexed. When you search for your blog, you can find it though Google search. However, the blog is not ranked yet.
There is a period commonly known as the Sandbox period.
Since many bloggers do not bother to update their blogs within the first two months of launching, Google does not bother to send traffic.
The duration for the Sandbox period for new blogs vary.It is usually two months.
3.The blog is ranked as supplemental page
All bloggers hate to see their blogs rank as a supplemental page. That means their blogs are not important, and do not show up in the main search result page.
Many bloggers find that it is the result of having too many duplicate content on their blogs.
If you have a large number of duplicate articles in your blog, you may like to rewrite the articles to achieve a certain degree of uniqueness.
4.Google bans the blog
I have read a few instances where Google bans the blogs.
A blogger with a PR 4 blog found that his blog became a Google PR N/A.After reading the guidelines in Google Webmaster, he discovered that he did not add rel=no follow tag to all the advertising links.
Google is very strict on this.If you sell banner space in your blog, make sure that all the links have no follow tag.
This blogger informed all the advertisers of his intention to add no follow tag. After that, he submitted a Site Reconsideration request to Google.
His page rank reverted to PR 4.Google started to send regular traffic.
Another blogger found that the daily visit dropped from 100 to 10.The Google PR is N/A.
He found that he had many unacceptable content.
Do you know what are the unacceptable blog posts? Those are the ones written about p***s enlargement.
He removed the blog posts, and his page rank improved by the next update. His blog enjoyed more than 100 unique visitors per day.
That is why Google PR N/A is worse than Google PR 0.
The website with Google PR N/A does not receive much traffic from search engines. If your blog has Google PR 0, you have to work hard to get more incoming links.
You cannot make money blogging if your blog has Google Page Rank of N/A.
