What Is Your Pay Per Impression Rate For Writing Online

Many writers like the transparent pay per impression method of some writing sites.

For example, when I was new to writing online, I joined Associated Content.

I liked the transparency of pay per impression method of Associated Content to pay international writers.

At the rate of $1.50 per 1,000 impressions, that was a good enough rate for me.

Since each page consisted of 400 words, most of us tried to write articles that ran into the second page or third page.

In this case, a reader would have given us three page impressions per article. If the reader made a comment, that would mean an

additional page impression.

That was why the pay per impression method was so popular.

Many writers who loved the pay per impression method forgot to look into the Adsense earnings.

We can break down the Adsense earnings into an average pay per impression.

Let us assume that your average click through rate is 3%. That means out of 1,000 page impressions, you will have 30 clicks. If the value of each click is 20 cents, you would have earned six dollars. That means you are making an average of $6 per 1,000 impressions.

That is certainly better than the $1.50 per 1,000 impressions of Associated Content.

That is why many writers prefer to write for Adsense, than to join those websites that use the pay per impression method.

You can certainly earn more with Adsense. You can use high paying Adsense keywords to induce more high paying advertisements to appear.

Some people enjoy the magical moment of seeing a click worth more than $10 in a single day. You cannot experience this joy if you join the writing sites that pay by page views.

Triond is a writing site that combines the best of both worlds.

So far my average pay per impression rate in Triond hovers around $2 per 1,000 impressions. My Adsense earnings by pay per impression rate for Triond articles hovers around $2.50 per 1,000 impressions.

That means I enjoy a rate of $4.50 per 1,000 page views from my articles in Triond.

The trick is to let the readers come from search engines. As long as I done my part in applying seo techniques in writing articles, and get some inbound links to the articles, the readers will come from Google and other search engines.

There is no need to beg others to read or comment on the content. It is better to get natural traffic.

What is your pay per impression? If you are hoping to earn more money from online writing, you must

learn seo techniques for article writing.

You must learn the trick of writing for higher paid Adsense niches. You must have a bulk of content, preferably a few thousand articles.

You can aim for the first hundred articles, followed by the next hundred articles.

If you can write a hundred articles per month, that will improve your earnings.

There is no short cut to success. Effort is needed. Nobody can make a good living by just a single article. It is not possible.

You cannot control the readers. You cannot decide to have more readers from United States to read your content. The only thing you can control is your own effort. You can write more articles. You can write articles of different niches. You can do your research so that you provide the right information to the readers.

You can only decide on your writing effort and seo link building effort.

Once you have done your part, the readers will come. You will not know who and when they come. You can only see from the statistics about how they find your articles, and where they come from.

When most of your readers come from Google search engines, you will enjoy a better pay per impression rate of earnings.

You will see the earnings increase. You will notice that you earn more than those with higher page views. The reason is that you have quality traffic. You have readers who are keen to read the articles, and keen to click on the advertisements.

Aim to write more articles. Aim to make the first dollar, then the first ten dollars, followed by the first hundred, and then the first thousand dollars.
