Their friends on another motorcycle died, but they did not even have a single broken bone. They had a few minor scratches.

As
a result of such urban legends, the Thai temples consecrate Luang Phor Thuad amulets for the believers.How true are those stories? I do not know. Even if I hear the stories from people who claim that they are sharing their life experience, I am too polite to ask for proof.
The only thing that matters is that I rather to be safe than sorry.
I have a Luang Phor Thuad amulet at home. I bring it out with me when I am travelling to a foreign country. I hope that I do not have a chance to test the effectiveness of such item, since the only way to test is to survive a nasty accident.
I certainly do not wish to get involved in a car crash, and survive intact, just to prove that Luang Phor Thuad amulet is good.
